How many times a day should I use a cleanser to wash my face?

This is a question that we get asked a lot. Keeping your skin clean is very important to avoid infections and clogged pores and to help enhance product absorption.
But is there a rule for how many times we should all wash our faces with a cleanser?
Not really, because each person needs to treat their skin as what it is, is it dry, combination, oily, or did you workout today, or sweat a lot? And so on
In general, if your skin is:
Dry: you can wash your face with only water in the morning and use the cleanser at night (but do use the cleanser after a sweaty workout).
Combination to Oily (or oily): use the cleanser in the morning and night (and use it after a sweaty workout)
That way, you can guarantee your skin is clean and not over-stripped of its natural oils. But please make sure your cleanser is gentle and doesn't leave your skin dry or itchy.
